Ronald Holland

Ronald Holland was born in Sacramento and has lived most of his life in Fairfield and Sacramento, California.  He graduated from the University of California-Davis majoring in Political Science and went on to attend law school and obtain his Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco.

Mr. Holland is a seasoned, experienced and well respected bankruptcy attorney. Mr. Holland managed one of the most successful and largest consumer bankruptcy practices in the San Francisco Bay area from 1985 to 1995, Jacoby & Meyers Law Offices, practicing in both the Northern District of California (San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose and Santa Rosa Divisions) and the Eastern District of California (Sacramento and Modesto Divisions).  He later owned his own law firm, Holland Law Offices, with offices in Fairfield and Sacramento from 1995 until 2002.

He is an excellent negotiator, counselor and manager. He has extensive experience representing clients in bankruptcy actions having filed an estimated 9000 cases over his career; many of which involved foreclosure and real estate actions and issues. Mr. Holland is experienced with the issues, law, rules and procedures in every aspect of consumer and small business bankruptcy practice.

Mr. Holland’s prior work experience also includes working for other mid-size law firms practicing in the areas of business, civil litigation, bankruptcy, bankruptcy litigation, estate planning, family law, probate, business, contracts and real estate law. He has advised businesses and business owners both in bankruptcy actions and otherwise in many areas of the law. He has negotiated and drafted numerous business reorganization plans under chapter 13. He has been an advocate for his clients and has protected their rights and interests ferociously at trial in adversary proceedings and contested matters and motions. Mr. Holland participated as a panel speaker at the National Convention of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA).

During a short hiatus from bankruptcy practice Mr. Holland owned and managed a small service business.  He built the business from the ground up, grew it into a statewide business then later negotiated a sale of the business.  In 2008 he continued his long career in bankruptcy practice in both the Northern and Eastern Districts by joining practice in Folsom California.  After establishing and building that practice, he advises a major regional practice as a consultant.  In both firms, Mr. Holland was the senior and managing attorney for the bankruptcy practice.

Now, Mr. Holland has joined with the Morris Law Group to continue his excellent record of client service and satisfaction in the practice of Consumer and Small Business Bankruptcy. He enjoys continuing to help individuals and small businesses find debt relief under the Bankruptcy Code.

Mr. Holland is a member of the California Bar Association and is associated with NACBA and the Sacramento Valley Bankruptcy Forum.
